Common Courtesy: Death of a Motherboard

I just wanted to let all of you know that I won’t be writing anything for a little while (I am collecting ideas, have no fear). With the sort of abrupt capriciousness that only a highly temperamental, micro-engineered electronic device can muster, my computer’s motherboard decided to cop out without warning or preamble this past Thursday. I’m limited to a loaner laptop of uncomfortably shrimpy size in both screen and keyboard, so in the interest of preserving my eyesight for a little longer I’m going on hiatus. No worries, I am coming back in good time.

Good corporate time. Because of warranties. So, don’t hold your breath, but don’t unfollow either. Look, just bear with me, this has been very hard for me and my well-fed, exceptionally healthy first-world body and its attendant computer addictions. This is a real problem. I’m going to go eat some ice cream and think about how miserably bored I am and how tremendously unfair life is. Well, that last part is true, anyway.

Say something, darn it!
